Today, on March 16th, the servers for The Division 2 will go down. Massive is unexpectedly conducting maintenance.
Reports have been piling up for a few minutes that The Division 2 is down. All platforms are probably not affected – but that will change soon.
Massive has now unexpectedly announced: Maintenance work will take place today. They shared this about 10 minutes before the maintenance.
These are the important times:
- The maintenance will start at 11 AM our time. The servers will be shut down.
- The servers should be online again by 12:30 PM.
Massive states that the server downtime is expected to last 1.5 hours. However, they will notify when the servers will be back online.
If the maintenance takes longer, we will update this article.
Server Status Info – Changes Today
Today’s maintenance work is taking place unexpectedly. Normally, the servers are maintained on Thursdays.
Now, in the hot release phase, Massive is diligently working to resolve all arising issues as quickly as possible, which is why we can expect several spontaneous server downtimes.
Yesterday there was unexpectedly a server restart. And late in the evening on Thursday, Massive wanted to deploy a patch that caused issues. This will be provided today, along with fixes for other problems.
What changes today? The developers have just released the changes:
- Players could get stuck at the wrong World Tier if they completed Strongholds in a group without the required gear score.
- The fix should reduce the occurrence of client crashes when using certain skills.
- Players could not talk to Agent Kelso in the Castle settlement.
- Players could receive multiple Ivory Keys from the same source.
- Progress was not saved when playing open-world activities and side missions in another player’s instance.
- There was an exploit where supply drops could be looted more frequently.
- If players quickly logged in and out, they could repeatedly purchase blueprints.
- If the “Dialed in” talent was combined with the Ernet mask, players received excessively high precision and stability.
