A leak from PlayStation Magazine UK has likely revealed the PvP modes of The Division 2. They will apparently be available right at the game’s launch.
Gradually, the marketing machinery for The Division 2 is gaining momentum. Yesterday, on January 16, there was already a new story trailer that announced the date for the private beta.
After the embargo on new information likely lifted today, PlayStation Magazine UK has also published its print issue. The cover story: The Division 2. Now, some photographed screenshots are circulating the internet. One of these images reveals that players can expect Skirmish, Team Deathmatch, and Domination as PvP modes.
Note: These details come from a leak and are incomplete. They should therefore be taken with caution.

Conflict as PvP Area of The Division 2
What does the magazine say? In PlayStation Magazine, it talks about
- Skirmish,
- Team Deathmatch
- and Domination,
which will likely be available right at the launch of The Division 2. Whether these are three modes or if multiple variations are included is unclear. You can take a look at the leaked shot here. It comes from the official Discord channel of The Division.
Conflict offers another progression system with its own levels that players can climb. This is already known from the first part, which had Dark Zone, Underground, and PvP ranks.
How was it in The Division 1? There were two modes called Skirmish and Last Stand, or Battle and Last Stand. They were introduced late in the game. Last Stand was part of the third and final DLC. There were NPC enemies that could be eliminated on the large maps to earn points.
Skirmish came with Update 1.8 at the end of 2017. It is a Team Deathmatch mode where two 4-player teams face off against each other.

What can one expect from Skirmish in The Division 2? Skirmish shares the same name as the Team Deathmatch mode of the predecessor, but is likely a brand new mode.
The map is small but packed with corners to hide in, where one can slip in. […]
Each team in Skirmish has a set number of respawns. Once these are used up, the game is over.
Unfortunately, there are no further details about the other modes yet.
It may be possible to test the PvP modes before release. The private beta now has a release date.
