Anyone who thinks that The Division 2 is dead is mistaken. The shooter has a new collaboration with a popular co-op shooter going on and is bringing with it new skins for your agents, but not all are free.
What collaboration is currently happening? Right now, there is a collaboration between The Division 2 and Payday, the famous co-op shooter centered around heists. However, the collaboration primarily brings new content to agents, especially cosmetic items in the form of weapon skins, masks, and other clothing.
The event started on July 15 and is expected to last until July 29, so if you like collecting cosmetic content and want to wear it, you need to start playing now. Ubisoft refers to this as a limited collaboration. It is quite possible that this is your only chance to get these items.
Payday brings its clowns to the streets
What rewards are available? In total, you can earn various masks of the iconic robbers through the collaboration. Together with their coats, gloves, and even weapon skins, your agent will turn into a real outlaw.
In addition to outfits, there are also trophies for your backpacks that you can pin on. If you want to enjoy more collaboration content over on Twitch, you can look forward to the following things, depending on how long you watch on Twitch:
- Watch for 15 minutes to receive 2 caches with named items.
- Watch for 30 minutes to receive the Payday Bronze Skull Backpack Trophy.
- Watch for 1 hour to receive an exotic cache.
- Watch for 2 hours to unlock the Payday Latex Gloves.
- Watch for 3 hours to unlock the Payday Bonnie Mask Backpack Trophy.
- Watch for 4 hours to receive another exotic cache.
- Watch for 5 hours to receive the Payday Gold Skull Backpack Trophy.
- Watch for 6 hours to receive the Payday Bronze Skull Mask.
Some content is given to you for free, like two jackets of the robbers from the event pass, but many more skins must be purchased with real money.
Where can I get the skins? There are four ways to get the skins:
- You watch streamers on Twitch for up to 6 hours to receive some skins.
- You participate in a Photo Mode Contest on social channels like X and Instagram.
- You buy the event pass and thus enjoy free and paid skins.
- Cosmetic bundles through the shop.
- Giveaway on X on the official game channel.
Through Twitch, you can watch any streamer who has Drops active to secure the skins. For these streams, it’s enough to let them run in the background to receive progress for the individual rewards.
The event pass, however, costs 1000 credits. 2000 if you don’t want to play and want to grab all the rewards right away.
