The developers of the grim MMORPG The Black Death want to thank the particularly active fans with the introduction of the Champion’s Council after a good year in 2016.
Players who have stood out through much positive feedback and special loyalty to the MMO are accepted into this “Council”. As a member of the Champion’s Council, you will have a direct line to the developers, can provide feedback, and will be more deeply involved in the development process of The Black Death as well as upcoming changes.
Are you a Champion?
As a Champion, you also have responsibilities. For example, you must ensure a positive atmosphere within the community and pass on the feedback from fans to the developers. You must be friendly and unbiased and may help organize community events as well as participate in test sessions.
You will receive a golden name in the game, your real name will be mentioned in the credits on Steam, and you will gain access to a special Champion channel on Discord. You cannot apply for a spot on the Council; instead, you will be selected when you have proven yourself accordingly.
The development team also looks back at the year 2016 and what was achieved. An infographic has been published containing interesting details. This includes that the first bug was reported on May 10, 2016, and a total of 1137 bugs have been fixed since then. The Steam group has 20,619 members, and the highest number of simultaneously playing fans reached 617.
