Elden Ring – The best class for experts
For experts in Soulsborne games, there is really only one class to consider: The Wretch.

Tips for this class: In addition to the tips we will mention further down, expert players should keep an eye on the talismans. These replace the rings from Dark Souls, but have an even more significant impact on your builds.
Some selected talismans significantly improve a whole group of attributes. There are also both weak and improved versions of these talismans. Weak versions grant 3 points to a selection of attributes.
With an improved version, you can get about 5 bonus points each on strength, dexterity, endurance, and vigor, with another the same for intelligence, faith, arcane, and mind.
The catch: With each talisman, you take more damage. So you have significantly more leeway with your builds, but also a clear risk.
This very consideration defines the Wretch as a class, which is why it is a great combination.

What should you note about this class? The Wretch is the only class that starts with completely balanced attributes. Moreover, it is the only class that begins at level 1. The equipment is also poor: you start completely without armor and only with a primitive club.
But exactly this lack of notable attributes makes the class so popular. One is completely free and flexible in builds and weapon choices, allowing for the creation of a character entirely to one’s liking. Additionally, only the Wretch allows for impressive level 1 runs that the best Soulsborne players can pull off.
For beginners, this class is therefore not suitable. However, if you want maximum flexibility in Elden Ring, the Wretch is indispensable.
