The Best Builds in Diablo 4: Tier List for Season 7

The list will change several times in the coming weeks, especially when it becomes clear how much the new witch powers from Season 7 actually influence the builds.

Our tier list includes all endgame activities for Diablo 4, with the Pit serving as a benchmark. For PvP, speed grinds, and leveling builds, the builds are not always the best suited. Keep in mind that all builds require you to possess Vessel of Hatred in order to use rune words.

Both Hammer of the Ancients (HotA) and Earthquake received a major buff in Season 7 – either directly or through legendaries. The new unique Mantle of the Mountain’s Fury also creates a strong synergy between the two skills. You literally explode in trembling earth around you.

With this build, you have guaranteed critical hits and guaranteed overwhelming hits. The trick is that you can maintain your buffs over an entire level if your cooldown on Cataclysm is short enough. However, you definitely need uniques.

Blood Wave gets new uniques with Season 7 – one of them is Kessim’s Legacy. The pants ensure that blood waves flow towards you and pull enemies in before exploding for high damage. This damage is increased every time an enemy is hit by a wave. You play this build completely without minions.

The Bone Spirit build for the Necromancer can gather enemies and then blow them up with an explosion. Usually, one explosion is enough to annihilate your enemies. This build is especially suitable for solo players who want to farm in the open world of Sanctuary.

Virtually a ranged build for barbarians: You throw your weapon – or several of them – and benefit from several buffs as long as the thrown axes or swords stick in the ground. The new witch power Piranhado, meanwhile, devours enemies and pulls them together.

The classic Spin to Win build. You mow through enemies and shred them along the way, having virtually infinite resources. Instead of working with Dust Devils like before, you trigger earthquakes constantly in Season 7.

The currently strongest build in the game is the “Felsikan” Druid, a mix of boulder and hurricane. With the unique amulet Dolmenstone, your boulder rotates around you when you cast it during hurricane. Through the witch powers, you can poison nearby enemies. The legendary Paragon node “Fortified Malice” grants you enormous multiplicative damage when poisoned enemies are nearby.

You jump as a werewolf from target to target and shred your opponents with your claws. At the same time, you distribute lightning to enemies around you. A build that is both mobile and vaporizes enemies with hard crits. Additionally, it features a strong offense – and you don’t necessarily need mythics to function.

Due to changes to ultimate abilities, Tear has become significantly stronger. With this build, you constantly run around as a werewolf and… well, tear enemies apart. “Fortified Malice” multiplies your damage.

With your Razor Wings, you make everything on the screen vulnerable and benefit from buffing your skills with the Gorilla and Jaguar spirit and dealing stronger crits. The Razor Wings also reduce the cooldown of all other skills, allowing you to spam your abilities continuously.

The formerly strongest S-Tier build from Season 6 is still strong in Season 7, despite some nerfs. You benefit from barriers and from the legendary node Tough Shield increasing your damage while you have a barrier. Unlike in Season 6, you play with the amulet Talisman of the Exiled Lord to exploit the overwhelm mechanic.

The build is quite straightforward: You let many, many arrows rain from the sky and elsewhere. With the strengthening of ultimates, Rain of Arrows is significantly stronger. You reset the skill through suppressive fire.

Unlike before, you no longer shoot a straight line of arrows at individual enemies, but can create explosions with a new unique ring. This makes the build strong against bosses as well as against groups of enemies and is an all-rounder among the rogue builds.

Since the first season, popular: you stick the twisting blades into an enemy and then distance yourself to lead them through as many foes as possible when they return. Ideal for speed farming because you zip over the map at high speed and everything explodes behind you.

A classic minion build and one of the few that do not completely forgo companions as a Necromancer. The build is quite simple: you weaken enemies and unleash an undead army on them.

A variation of Bone Spear that plays with Blood Wave and the new unique Indira’s Memory. This makes Bone Spear a blood skill and Blood Wave a bone skill with additional effects. You make enemies vulnerable with Bone Spear while dealing damage with Blood Wave at the same time.

With this build, you focus on your minions – your undead companions. Your personal Army of the Dead accompanies you through every endgame content. You use “Blood Wave” to siphon blood from enemies, curse skills to curse enemies and minimize their damage, and “Corpse Vines” to stun enemies. With the “Blood Mist,” you are immune for a few seconds.

Finally usable after several seasons: Frost spells received strong buffs in Season 7. Blizzard and Freeze become useful builds again. As a Blizzard Sorcerer, you plunge the entire screen into a hail of ice and watch as enemies freeze and explode into frozen shards.

Igniting enemies and throwing fire around you. You do this primarily with this build. Due to the changes to Fire Bolt, you have a chance to throw even more fire bolts. Hot.

A Spin to Win build. Dance of Knives is one of the new skills from Season 6 and works just as well in Season 7, only stronger. You throw knives wildly in a circle, dodging attacks while pulling enemies closer to lure them into your knives.

It is not yet entirely sure how strong the build will actually be. Ball Lightning Sorcerers were one of the strongest builds of the last seasons, where you let lightning orbs circle around you, grilling enemies. The new unique Okun’s Catalyst makes the build a bit stronger.
