Touch of Death is probably the finishing move that rogues dream of and what priests would prefer with Shadow Word: Death.
As the name suggests, Touch of Death causes the target to die instantly – provided the victim has fewer hit points than the monk. The damage of the ability scales with the monk’s maximum hit points, making it especially powerful for tanks. So if the monk has 10,000,000 hit points, they can kill all enemies who have less than 10,000,000 HP with a single keystroke.
With an appropriate distribution of talents, Touch of Death can even annihilate not only the current target but also some nearby enemies.
Good thing this ability only works in a weakened version in PvP, otherwise monks would probably dominate every battlefield. But even in PvE, the ability is extremely satisfying when you can defeat bosses in dungeons with a Touch of Death at the last moment, even though the boss still has several percentage points of health left.
