What is it? The mobile version of Black Desert is heavily based on the PC and console version, but tells a slightly different story.
Here you will encounter some familiar NPCs, bosses, and the infamous Black Spirit makes a return. However, some systems, such as crafting, have been simplified. The selection of classes has also been reduced, but there are still 13. The famous character editor is also a real highlight in the mobile version.
Black Desert Mobile offers a beautiful world to explore and an action combat system that can also run in autoplay mode if desired. However, those who want to take control have that option any time.
What are the core features? Black Desert relies on a lot of grind, exploring a vast game world, and PvP. This is already known from the PC and console version and translates well to mobile devices.
However, Black Desert Mobile offers features that are not present in the “big” version, including the camp. This is a kind of base where you build structures, store materials, and even start special missions.
Who should play it? Those who know Black Desert Online on PC or console will feel right at home here. The gameplay has been well adapted to smartphones, even if there are compromises in crafting and classes.
