Monster Hunter Wilds finally starts its 2nd open beta on February 7, 2025. There are some differences from the first beta, most notably new monsters that you can fight. One of them will challenge you particularly, as it is the new flagship monster.
Which monster is it? In a new Capcom Spotlight (via YouTube), Capcom has showcased some of its current games. Among them were also new updates on upcoming titles. A new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds was released, which shows something special at one point.
Along with the new trailer, there was also more information about the open beta, which will run from February 7 to February 10 and from February 14 to February 17. The big highlight is that you can fight the new flagship monster Arkveld. However, it is emphasized in the presentation that the battle is not easy and is rather suited for advanced players.
But that is not the only innovation in the second beta.
