Place 10: Rust
Rust is a survival game that was released to the public in 2013. Almost 3 years later, the game is still in the early access phase but has managed to attract a multitude of players. As with almost all of these titles, the initial goal is simple: survive. You need clothing, food, a fire, and later also a roof over your head to withstand the weather and wild animals. But the wilderness is only the smallest problem: Other players are often quite keen on the loot you have. No wonder that this has convinced 82% of players – the game principle works.

Place 6: Tree of Life
A somewhat childlike graphic can be found in the game Tree of Life, which is currently still in early access on Steam. It stems from the large wave of survival games that have come to market in recent years but brings enough innovations to stand out from the crowd. As the world constantly evolves on its own (for example, forests gradually spread), players can shape the entire continent to their will and even enhance their character. Tree of Life combines MMO survival with RPG elements, securing an approval rating of 85% and landing in 6th place.
