Death comes from above. In the case of Winged Beasts, this is true. They are flying creatures that vaguely resemble dragons. Their wings have an enormous wingspan and are equipped with dangerous claws.
These creatures serve the Nazgûl as mounts. They fly over the battlefield and pounce on their enemies. The Winged Beasts quickly snatch entire groups of horses along with riders and hurl them through the air. With their mouths full of sharp teeth, they also bite.
The eeriest part, however, is the high cawing that resembles a scream. With this, they announce their arrival on the battlefield and instill great fear in all opponents. Anyone who doesn’t flee is to blame for their fate. However, in terms of danger, they are surpassed by their master, who takes place 5.
