Owlbears are frightening yet somehow really cute creatures that combine the strength of a bear with the wildness of an owl. With sharp claws, strong beaks, and unpredictable temperaments, they often attack without hesitation.
Originally the result of a failed magical experiment by misguided wizards, they now roam as feared predators through many forests and caves. Some adventurers even try to tame them, often failing miserably in the face of the temperament and wildness of the owlbears.
