Six weeks after the console launch of TERA, the free-to-play MMORPG has already recorded two million registered players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Additionally, TERA is the game of the month for PlayStation Plus, so PS4 players will receive free items.
The MMORPG TERA was released on April 3 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, after being available on PC since 2012. EnMasse Entertainment has now announced that less than two months after the console release, they have already registered two million users on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In addition, it is the “PlayStation Plus Game of the Month for May.” This is celebrated with a free pack, “the PS Plus Pack,” which PS4 players can claim in the PlayStation Store from May 15 to June 12.
EnMasse bundled both news into a press release – Xbox One players might perceive this as somewhat insensitive. They are left empty-handed, even though they have also contributed to the milestone of two million players.
Item Pack with Mount, Hat, and Elite Status
These items are available for PS4 players: Players of the PlayStation 4 version of TERA will find the free item pack in the PlayStation Store under the name “PS Plus Package.” The bundle is available from May 15 to June 12 and includes the following items:
- Mount Shadowmare: A spectral horse with a movement speed of 280
- Cosmetic item “Blue Baseball Cap”
- 15 days of elite status, which includes various account bonuses like double experience points, fast travel, or daily gift boxes
Console Events in May
There’s a lot to do in TERA for both consoles in May. After the hard mode of the Lilitas Fortress and the PvP battlefield Corsairs Stronghold were added to the MMO, an XP event will take place from May 18 to 27.
Additionally, starting May 22, players will be able to explore the hard mode of the Lachelitas Ruin dungeon. The hard version of the latest added dungeon is designed for five players with level 45 and item level 422.
