Which MMOs and MMORPGs do you think deserve more attention? Tell us more about them and explain why they should have more players.
MMOs belong to a highly competitive area in the gaming industry. Unlike single-player games like God of War or Legend of Zelda, they must manage to keep their players engaged over a longer period.
This results in higher player numbers and thus more money coming in, through subscription services, cash-shop purchases, and other types of microtransactions.
Over time, some titles have managed to establish themselves strongly in the market, of which everyone has at least heard. Whether WoW, FFXIV, ESO, Guild Wars 2 or EVE, MMORPG fans know them all and know what to expect there.
However, there are always MMOs that manage to fill a niche and establish themselves there. They are smaller than the big players but still offer fun gameplay. The only problem is that hardly anyone knows them because they can’t carry out large marketing campaigns with many trailers.
Do you know any such games that actually deserve much more attention?
