Today we celebrate in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Because the unofficial Star Wars Day “May the 4th” is happening again and brings you free goodies and more experience points in Bioware’s online role-playing game.
The 4th of May has been considered the unofficial Star Wars holiday since at least 2011 and has been celebrated every year by many fans worldwide. Naturally, this year the 4th of May will also be celebrated in Star Wars: The Old Republic with gifts and events.

For the holiday, SWTOR is giving you a free little astromech droid as a mini-pet. Log in by May 8 at the latest to receive the little rascal. Additionally, until May 14, you will receive a huge experience points booster that will grant you double XP.

If you prefer to complete raids and missions, you can also be happy. Because Bioware has fixed various bugs and issues with Patch 5.2.1 that have plagued the game since the Iokath Update.
You can now correctly recruit the companions Quinn and Dorne, and there is now better loot for daily Iokath missions. Additionally, there are loot improvements in veteran and master flashpoints in the level 51 to 64 range, alongside bug fixes in the new raid.

In the German-speaking area, an unsuspecting interpreter made people laugh in 2005 during the release of Episode 3 by mistakenly translating George Lucas’s greeting “May the Force be with you” as “On the fourth of May, we are with them”.
