In Star Wars: The Old Republic, a lot is changing with the expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire across the various classes. A first look is taken at the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior …
May mobility be with you!
In order for the Sith Warriors and Jedi Knights to fully unleash their combat potential in the upcoming expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire, they will be slightly revised in the near future. The most outstanding feature is probably their new ability Madness Sprint (Sith) and Blade Blitz (Jedi): The character sprints 20 meters straight ahead, dealing weapon damage to all enemies in the way and increasing the defense chance during the animation by 100%, but has a relatively high cooldown time of 45 seconds. With a new passive talent, this ability can even be activated while incapacitated and removes movement-impairing effects. The goal of this introduction is to grant the Jedi/Sith greater control over the battlefield and to make them less “kiteable” in PvP – as some ranged fighters could make the elite of lightsaber wielders look quite outdated.
Changes to the passive talents of all classes
But there are also some adjustments regarding the generality of the classes. To prevent an inflation of character strength, characters now receive their passive talent points a little later: Basically, all talent points have been moved back by 6 levels. Previously, there was a point at level 11, but with KotFE, you now have to play until level 17. Only the last talent point is moved back only by 5 levels – from 60 to 65.
