The history books of the ancestors are somewhat like the Life Skills in Swords of Legends Online. You will learn fishing, the master craftsman, and bounty hunting there. We at MeinMMO will reveal how to unlock the bounty hunting.
How do you unlock bounty hunting? You learn bounty hunting through what is called “cultivation”. This is a sort of tutorial for the various content of the game.
At the beginning, you must complete an instance exploration (practice). We recommend tackling this task around level 23, as you will experience a lack of quests in this level range that you can easily bridge.
Once you have completed an instance, you need to open the “weekly event” tab. There you will now find the quest “Blood Ruins Bounty – Practice”. You must complete this task to unlock bounty hunting. For your first quest, you will then go to the Weichuan Highlands.
Why is bounty hunting so important? Through bounty hunting, you unlock world bosses, some of which must be defeated solo or in large groups:
- They provide daily or weekly rewards depending on the boss, including reputation and important tokens. You can use the tokens to acquire better equipment.
- Additionally, you gain important experience points through them, which can help you between levels 23 and 25. There is a larger pause in the story quest at that point, which you would otherwise have to bridge with daily quests and grinding. World bosses are the best alternative there.
- Furthermore, there are many achievement points associated with the bounties.
The different bosses in Swords of Legends Online
What types of world bosses are there? In SOLO, there are 4 types of world bosses:
- Solo players – that can be defeated by one player alone
- Team – which are best defeated by groups of 2-5 players, but can also be defeated alone with some effort
- Group – designed for a larger group of players
- Open world bosses – which are not related to the bounty system and thus are not marked on the map
The bosses from bounty hunting, their rewards, and the reset of the rewards are displayed on the world map:
How are the bosses activated? As soon as you are near the bosses, a symbol will appear above your health bar on the left. Now you can use your learned ability Red Feather Seal (in the history book of the ancestors, can be dragged into the action bar at the bottom).
Then you will be ported to another version of the map where you can fight against the bosses.
How many world bosses are there? An achievement mentions 57 different bosses that you can defeat through bounty hunting.
