How strong can someone be who is called Superboy? Turns out, quite strong. Superboy-Prime has the classic Clark Kent backstory, just in the universe of Earth-Prime. In this universe, the stories of the heroes exist as comics, hence his name. His parents were Superman fans.
He can break the fourth wall and read comics, which allows him to know what is happening in other universes. However, this also contributes to his villainy. He knows that his existence is determined by authors, and he cannot do anything about it. He is forced to hurt people, even though he actually wants to be the hero.
