In Subnautica 2 there are ways to influence the gaming experience with cheats and console commands. We will show you which ones are available and how it works.
What cheats can be used? So far, there is no official way to modify Subnautica 2 through console commands. However, the game can be modified through 2 mods and suitable console commands. This allows you to make life in the game easier and customize the gaming experience to suit your play style.
According to PCGamer, the developers also confirmed that official cheats will be introduced in Subnautica 2 during early access.

All Console Commands & Cheats for Subnautica 2
You can currently use the following console commands in Subnautica 2:

| day | Sets the time to “Day” |
| day [number] | Sets the time to a specific hour |
| FOV [number] | Sets your field of view to the chosen value |
| god | God mode: You take no damage and need neither food, drink, nor oxygen |
| invisible | You are invisible to hostile creatures |
| Item [name] [number] | You receive the specified amount of the item. For example, “Item Silver 10” gives you 10 silver in your inventory. |
| kill | You die |
| night | Sets the time to “Night” |
| nocost | Craft or process something without resources |
| oxygen | Oxygen does not matter for you |
| togglehud | Hides the HUD (but does not bring it back! You will need to restart) |
| unlock all | Acquire all recipes, blueprints, and journal entries |
The following commands are already available, but they do not yet work:
- Fastswim
- Fly
- Goto
- Noclip
- Warp
Applying Console Commands – Here’s How
What needs to be done to use them? To currently use the console commands, you need to follow these steps:
- Download the mod “UE4SS” from NexusMods
- Locate the game installation folder
- The easiest way to do this is to right-click the game in your library, select “Manage” and then “Browse Local Files”
- Then extract the file into the following folder: Subnautica2Subnautica2BinariesWin64
- Then download the mod “Console Commands” from NexusMods
- Then extract the file into the following folder: Subnautica2Subnautica2BinariesWin64ue4ssMods
If everything worked, you should be able to use the corresponding console in the game after starting it.
How to use the console? Just press the F2 key in the game. This should open a window that shows you various command options and also allows you to enter some manually. Here you can then select what you want or enter one from the list above and use it.
