Streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo is achieving great success on Twitch and is one of the most well-known creators on the platform. He now claims that women have it much easier on Twitch than men.
This is Mizkif:
- The streamer often holds events and quizzes on his channel with his colleagues. On average, he entertains 30,288 viewers. Currently, he plays less on his Twitch channel, but he occasionally turns to Super Mario 64 or the successful Lost Ark (as of March 7, 2022, 08:56 AM).
- Mizkif is one of the founders of the group One True King. A streamer group that produces content together and lives in a shared apartment in Texas. Well-known streamers like Asmongold and Emiru are part of it.
- With 22,023 subs on Twitch, Rinaudo is among the most successful streamers and has even earned 5,000 euros just by sleeping.
- Mizkif now explains that women have it much easier to grow on Twitch, but they have a certain limit that men do not have.
Women are said to have a limit that men do not have
What did the streamer say in detail? Rinaudo said in a stream that women have a much easier start on Twitch than men.
You can see the excerpt here:
I’m sorry, it’s just the truth. And if you don’t think it’s the truth, you’re wrong. It’s much easier for women to reach 100, 200, 300 viewers.

Then came a big “but” from the streamer: Women are said to have a limit of 600 to 1000 viewers. Once this limit is reached, it is nearly impossible for women to grow further.
Men are said not to have this limit of 600 to 1000 viewers, according to Mizkif. While men have a more difficult start, they can break the 1000 viewer mark more easily, as men want to watch other men stream. This is not the case for women.
What does the community say about the statement? On reddit, a post along with the Twitch clip was created, under which the community is actively discussing:
- cloaked_rhombus receives considerable agreement with his comment: “Makes sense because the value of a woman is based on the fact that many people seek attention from a woman. When a female streamer gets too big, people leave the stream because they no longer get this attention.”
- FeedMeToTheSquirrels thinks: “The largest share of this is probably due to the fact that most users on Twitch are male teenagers or young men who are naturally drawn to ‘male’ humor.”
- jo_jo_nyeb makes a gamer comparison: “Like in every RPG/MOBA: Some classes/skills are strong in the early game but useless in the end game.”
Other users write that attractive women have it even easier on Twitch and automatically attract viewers. In addition, it seems that there are often donors in the streams who donate higher amounts to these female streamers.
As a result, the female streamers tend to focus primarily on these users and pay less attention to the rest of the chat. This limits the possible growth of the female streamer.
The majority in the reddit thread agrees with Mizkif. Do you think the same or do you have a different opinion?
