Streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon (Apex Legends, Valorant) has been banned from Twitch for 24 hours after showing her bare breast. The ban was demanded by several other streamers. However, she herself wished she had been banned for a longer period.
Here’s why the streamer was banned: During a stream on April 24, Alinity wanted to shove a pillow under her top to simulate a big belly, but she accidentally lifted her bra and top, and her breast was briefly visible.
Showing a bare breast is against the new nudity rules of Twitch.
Streamer believes: It was planned
This was the reaction: Although this action was clearly an accident and not planned, especially other streamers demanded her ban.
Alinity had already drawn attention in the past:
- she once threw a cat
- gave another cat a vodka kiss
- got into a fight with one of her dogs – which sniffed her lower abdomen
These incidents from 2019 were not punished by Twitch, which is why the spotlight of the Twitch public is now on Alinity and the new incident, wondering if Twitch will slap the ban hammer this time.
The LoL streamer Kaceytron said that Twitch must ban Alinity, otherwise there would be an uprising. Because further preferential treatment of Alinity shows only how unfair Twitch is.
Streamer Trainwreck alleged that Alinity does this on purpose. Every 4 months, when her viewer numbers stagnate or even decrease on Twitch, something like this happens to her. He considers this a plan and calculation.
Also, the way Alinity had stuffed a pillow under her top was totally bizarre. He had never seen anything like it. It makes no sense that she lifted her bra during the act.
Streamer bans herself from Twitch for 3 days
This was Alinity’s reaction: The incident of her breast being visible apparently wasn’t really embarrassing for the streamer. She reacted rather aggressively to comments about the slip-up.
She accused people of trying to instill false shame in her because of her body. These people have misconceptions about what bodies really look like because they watch too much porn.
Even before any reaction from Twitch came, Alinity had imposed a “3-day ban” on herself from Twitch. She considered this ban appropriate, she said.
When she was actually banned for 24 hours, she mockingly applauded, “Our hard work has finally paid off,” she said on Twitter.
Later, the streamer explained what supposed “atrocities” she had committed with her animals – that too seemed a bit huffy.
Alinity feels like a victim of misrepresentation
What’s behind this: Alinity is a kind of figurehead that Twitch applies double standards. Many believe Alinity receives special treatment. She is rarely punished by Twitch and when so, only lightly, while other streamers are regulated much more harshly.
Rumors also circulate that she has a relationship with someone at Twitch or something similar.
Alinity defends herself against these allegations and considers them absurd rumors, which she denies. She says she has also been temporarily banned several times. If people have a problem with Twitch’s ban policy, they should sort it out with Twitch, not with her.
The role as “Twitch’s darling” seems to be getting on her nerves. She evidently feels misrepresented here and reacts bitterly.
