Halloween is just around the corner and you still need a spooky game to play with friends? Currently, the horror game “Pacify” is on sale on Steam in the “Halloween Sale” for less than €3. Many players praise it in the reviews for its multiplayer mode.
What kind of Halloween game is this? The game is Pacify, a survival horror game with a coop mode.
What is Pacify about? The player starts working at PAH Inc., the Paranormal Activity Helpers Incorporated. First job: Investigating an old haunted house where something evil allegedly resides.
The newly hired paranormal detective can either go alone or with the support of their team to the house. There, clues are collected to uncover what is behind the haunting.

What is the gameplay like in Pacify? The player can search for the supernatural in both single-player mode and in a team.
In multiplayer mode, you can choose whether to play together with your friends or against them. In the haunted house, it’s about searching for clues regarding what is going on and how to appease the supernatural being in the house.
Additionally, the player must find items in the house that will help them uncover the secrets of the haunting. However, the players are not alone in the house and must avoid being seen by the evil.
What do the Steam reviews say about Pacify? The game has a very positive rating with 88% positive user reviews. Out of a total of 25,862 reviews, over 20,000 positive comments have been made by players (as of October 28, 2022).
What do players say about Pacify? Overall, many players praise the multiplayer aspect of the game and say that Pacify should definitely be played with friends. However, it is admitted that it is quite a short game with very limited content. Therefore, the game can be completed relatively quickly.
However, many find the limited scope acceptable given the price and recommend the game mainly as an entertaining pastime in a friends’ circle. Playing alone is generally discouraged.
