Pre-orderers of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 can participate in a closed beta that is currently ongoing. All other interested players will have to wait until October 6th. Because then everyone can experience the online shooter in the open beta.

The open beta starts here on October 6th at 10 AM. However, you will first need to download the required game data. Because there is no preload.
And how long can you play? The beta ends for everyone – including those playing in the closed beta – on October 9th at 6 PM.
When the beta is over, the developers will review the testers’ feedback and implement it if necessary. By the official launch of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 on November 17th, you should finally expect a smooth gaming experience.

Those participating in the beta will experience the Galactic Assault on the planet Naboo, the Strike mode on Takodana, and the Starfighter Assault above the planet Fondor. So there is quite a bit to try out.
