The SF-MMO Star Trek Online lets you relax on the vacation planet Risa during the summer. This year, casual outfits, power boards, pets, and a Ferengi warship are waiting for the players.
It was always one of the highlights of the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation when the otherwise stiff Captain Picard was forced by his crew to slip out of his uniform and relax for a few days. In Star Trek Online, it is also part of every captain’s annual rhythm. Workaholic or not: It’s off to Risa.
The summer event, the Lohulnat Festival, takes place there in 2015. In MMO terms, this is an event where players can participate and earn rewards. The “grand prize” is a Ferengi Nandi warship. “Smaller” rewards include casual outfits, power boards, or Risan pets.
