In Pokémon GO Dyna battles have been active for several months. However, even today, players still discover things related to it that they didn’t notice before. For example: A small button in the lower left corner.
Which button are we talking about? After finishing a Dyna battle, you can find a small button in the lower left corner. It shows the spawn symbol, indicating that a Pokémon appears here.
This button has been around for a long time, but some are just noticing it now – or not at all, as a post in the “TheSilphRoad” subreddit about Pokémon GO shows. A trainer reported exactly this button, highlighting that they didn’t know what it did until now (you can find the post here on Reddit).
In the replies, some trainers are saying that they have never seen this button or that they are not quite sure what it does. So: What does it do?

What does the button do? In fact, the button is not always there when you finish a Dynamax battle. It only appears when trainers have left Pokémon at the energy source. However, when it is there, you can look forward to an appearing Pokémon. These can be all kinds of monsters, but some trainers also report really good spawns, such as Grolldra.
Important: You do not have to necessarily collect this Pokémon using the button. Sometimes these Pokémon simply appear next to the energy source.
The button becomes particularly interesting when players leave a Gigantamax Pokémon at the energy source after a Dyna battle. This is possible after every completed Dyna battle: You choose one of the Pokémon you had in your team and leave it behind so that it gives attack bonuses for players who participate in future battles.
If this Pokémon is a Gigantamax Pokémon, then the appearing Pokémon from the button can be a Dynamax Pokémon. This is a great opportunity for everyone just starting to delve into the feature to expand their collection of Dynamax Pokémon. Additionally, some of the Pokémon that appear there may even be shiny. Thus, you have the chance to receive a shiny Dyna Pokémon if you are lucky.
So: Always check for the spawn button in the lower left after Dyna battles at energy sources. And when you leave Pokémon, consider whether you might want to leave a Gigantamax Pokémon at the energy source to improve the spawns.
