Sony, the manufacturer of PlayStation, has previously released its own technology for its gaming consoles. Apparently, the Japanese company wants to continue its strategy for the PS5: Leaks show the first images of new gaming headsets and even a monitor is said to be in the works.
The PlayStation 5 remains one of the most sought-after pieces of technology of our time. Since the release, we have had a sales ticker for the PS5 on MeinMMO and many readers are still looking for a console for their living room.
After purchasing the console, the tech check comes. Can the TV utilize all the functions of the PS5? Should one get new headphones so that the investment in the console is reflected in the sound experience?

Monitors and Headsets Specifically for the PS5
Previously, Sony developed hardware branded “PlayStation,” including TVs. For the manufacturer, it’s a simple calculation: The devices are suitable for all common applications of a TV but come with a recommendation for the PlayStation.

What technology has been leaked now? Specifically, it concerns 3 headset models and 2 monitor models.
The leak regarding the monitors comes from “Tom Henderson” published on the site exputer.com (via exputer.com). Henderson is known as a reliable insider who has made many accurate predictions in the gaming field.
He announces that Sony will introduce 2 monitors soon:
- 4K monitor with 144 Hz
- FullHD monitor with 240 Hz
Both devices are said to be ideally suited for PS5, support VRR, feature HDR, and offer a low response time (1ms gray-to-gray time). Furthermore, gaming features like displaying current FPS and extensive options for adjusting colors and contrasts are possible.
When exactly the devices are expected to be presented, Henderson cannot say. His sources estimate a presentation during the next week (June 27 – July 3). Possibly, the new PS5 Pro controller that Henderson has also leaked will be seen then.
