The shotgun is one of the 30 weapons that you can obtain in the survival hit Sons of the Forest. It is particularly effective at short distances to the target.
Where can I find the shotgun?
The shotgun is located in a grave in the northwest of the map.

How do I find the shotgun? Go to the indicated point on the map. There you will find a grave.
Use the wooden cross to locate the exact spot. Dig up the grave until you encounter a corpse in the coffin. This corpse is holding the shotgun, which you can easily take.
Additionally, you can obtain a GPS beacon from the corpse.
What are the requirements for the shotgun? Since you need to dig up a grave, you will first need the shovel to get the weapon.

What ammunition do I need for the shotgun? For the shotgun, you will need either buckshot or slugs.
You can change the type of ammunition by aiming the weapon barrel downwards and then pressing “R”.
Where can I find ammunition for the shotgun? The ammunition for the weapon can be found in crates scattered throughout the game world of Sons of the Forest. Right at the crash site, you can collect some ammunition for the weapon from the crates.
Currently, you cannot craft shotgun ammunition yourself.
