In Sons of the Forest you can find a golden armor and a katana to make your journey through the island easier. We will show you how and where to get them.
Where are the items located? Since the latest update, the location of the golden armor has changed. It is now found in a separate cave in the western part of the map. However, to obtain the armor, you will need diving equipment.
The armor will be located on a skeleton, which is situated on a golden monument.
However, the katana is still located in a bunker east of the map.
The bunker, however, is locked and requires a maintenance keycard to open. Note that this bunker belongs to the heavier calibers, and you should bring a proper weapon and armor. After fighting through mutants, go down the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Now search all the offices located on the right side. In one of them, the katana is placed on a holder near the sofa.
If you have obtained the katana, don’t forget to pick up the golden mask. It is very useful for intimidating cannibals.

If you have dug in the right places and gained access, you only need to investigate the underground base. The keycard will be located in a living area on a desk.
What can the items do? The katana is one of the strongest melee weapons in the game. It is quickly deadly and has a nostalgic touch. However, the golden armor is not armor per se, but a piece of clothing that removes any armor worn. It reduces damage taken by 70% from demons and cannot break. This means you can take more hits before you bite the dust.
