The 2nd season ended on March 13, 2025. Not counting the recap episode 7.5, the anime for Solo Leveling currently consists of 25 episodes. Solo Leveling Season 3: All about the release of the season
Release: When will Solo Leveling Season 3 come out?
Initially, there was no direct announcement for Season 3. However, as Sota Furuhashi, producer at Aniplex, recently revealed, it could still take a while before Season 3 of Solo Leveling is released.
If it were up to him, he would finish Season 3 by the next Olympics – which would be in 2028 (via YouTube). However, he also adds that the decision is more in the hands of A-1 Pictures and animation producer Atsushi Kaneko.
In addition, there is a statement from Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini (via Deadline). He adds that he hopes there will be a Season 3 at all. The creators of the anime are working on several series, so they first need to find time to produce Season 3.
The English voice actor for Sung Jin-woo, Aleks Le, confirms on X: It will take a while before Season 3 comes. A release is not in sight.
If the production of Season 3 took as long as for Season 2, the anime would appear in January 2026. Between Season 2 and Season 1 there was exactly one year.
But thanks to the current statements, it looks like the start will be delayed – and the release will consequently be pushed back. We estimate that we will have to wait until at least 2027 to see the continuation.
Episodes: How many episodes will Season 3 have?
The number of episodes for Season 3 is not known yet. Season 1 consists of 12 episodes, and Season 2 has 13 episodes. Therefore, we assume that Season 3 will have between 12 and 13 episodes.
Streaming Service: Where can I watch Solo Leveling Season 3?
Both Season 1 and Season 2 of the anime are available on Crunchyroll. The anime was released there weekly as a simulcast to the Japanese broadcast. Therefore, it can be assumed that Season 3 will also be available on Crunchyroll.
Dubbing: In what language will Season 3 be available?
As with Season 1 and Season 2, you will be able to watch Solo Leveling directly during airing with Japanese audio and German subtitles. There is even the option to watch the seasons with German dubbing. Therefore, we assume that this will also be the case for Season 3.
Story: What is Season 3 about?
The 2nd season ends with the recruitment arc. Following that, starting from Chapter 111 of the webtoon, is the Ahjin Guild arc. So you can already read in the manhwa where it continues. Whether Season 3 will include the entire story is not known. It could also be that a cut will be made after a certain arc, such as after the International Guild Conference arc.
