In a current beta of Dune: Awakening, the developers present their new survival game to the public. Even large Twitch streamers do not miss the opportunity to test the game live. However, shroud is faced with an unfair method that affects him so badly that the developers have to respond.
What kind of beta is this? From May 9, 2025, to May 12, 2025, the beta of Dune: Awakening runs. Before the launch on June 10, 2025, players still have the chance to play the survival game in the Dune universe.
The Twitch streamer shroud also seized the opportunity and streamed the game live on Twitch. However, a situation arises with well-known streamer Tyler1, who uses an unfair tactic to take out shroud.
The developers react live to this and promise: We will definitely fix this before the launch.

The Invincible Strategy in PvP
What happened? In a clip on Twitch, you can see how Tyler1 uses the game’s knife and continuously attacks shroud in PvP with it. The problem for shroud is that he is stunlocked
. This means that while he is being hit by the knife, he cannot defend himself, as an attack puts him into a brief Stagger animation
.
Since Tyler1 can continuously attack with the knife, shroud cannot get out of this animation. In other words, Tyler1 can easily take out shroud slowly by not stopping swinging the knife.
The developers also reacted to this situation live (via Twitch). Embarrassed, the developers watched the situation and laughed. However, they explained that they already know about the problem and that the Stunlock
is not intended.
While they themselves laugh about the situation, they promise that they will fix the problem before the game is released.
