A new sci-fi shooter on Steam and PS5 gives you a massive cryo cannon and sends you after ninja cyborgs

Soon, a new sci-fi shooter will be released on Steam and PS5, where you play as RoboCop hunting down criminals – including dangerous ninja cyborgs. Part of your arsenal is now a cryo-gun that can freeze enemies in an instant.

What game is being discussed? This refers to the new expansion for RoboCop: Rogue City titled “Unfinished Business.” In the first-person shooter by Teyon, you once again assume the role of the legendary RoboCop and fight against crime.

Unfinished Business is not a traditional expansion but a standalone: You do not need to own Rogue City to purchase and play Unfinished Business.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business will be released on July 17, 2025, on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

One-Man Army in the Fight Against Dangerous Mercenaries

What is the game about? Unfinished Business features a story that acts as a homage to the 2012 film Dredd: A group of mercenaries has violently barricaded themselves in the OmniTower, a massive skyscraper. RoboCop fights his way up through it step by step. 

Along the way, you encounter many new enemies – including flying drones, enemies with jetpacks, and even ninja cyborgs that attack you with katanas. For the first time, you can also play multiple characters:

• In flashback missions, you experience RoboCop’s past, when he was still Alex Murphy. Back then, he was obviously not a tank on two legs, which affects gameplay.
• Additionally, you can take control of ED-209, a police combat robot equipped with mini-MGs and rocket launchers.

As in Rogue City, RoboCop will again be voiced in English by Peter Weller, who portrayed the character in the films.
