Many players were looking forward to some matches of “Teamfight Tactics” this evening, June 27. However, it has been canceled for now. There are issues with the servers, as Riot reports. Players are directed to “Riot Server Status” – but there is not much information to be found there. The wait times in the queue are extremely long.
Here is the problem: At around 7:20 PM, Riot Games disabled the new LoL mode “Teamfight Tactics.” They say they are investigating a problem.
There had already been difficulties before. The queues were extremely long during the German primetime and kept getting longer.
Those who were already in the queue can play now, but new players cannot join the queue.
It is not known why Riot has completely shut down Teamfight Tactics. They only say that issues have occurred now that the load is so high.
We do not currently know when we can play LoL Auto Chess again on EU West. However, we will keep you updated at MeinMMO.
Teamfight Tactics playable since today – It’s being overwhelmed
This is the situation: Since today everyone can download Teamfight Tactics and play.
While this morning it went without long queues, around 4 PM one had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes until a match was found.
The rush for the new LoL mode, Teamfight Tactics, is apparently huge in Europe.
Riot says: As it became evening in Europe, we noticed an extreme number of games starting, and thus activated the queue throttling.
They expected that it would remain active during prime time.
This was the situation yesterday in the USA: As reported by Dotesports, there were also some issues in the USA yesterday with excessively long wait times. They even reached 90 minutes. For many players, that was just too long.
However, they could at least play – the disabling is new.
