Originally, the Closed Beta of the promising MMORPG Revelation Online was supposed to start on October 25. However, that won’t happen.
The developers have postponed the date to November 3. The reason given was issues that were noticed by the testing team at the last minute. These are stability issues that cannot be ignored. They must be resolved before the Beta can begin.
Closed Beta is supposed to provide a good player experience
The development team hopes they made the right decision and that players would have acted the same way in such a situation. After all, the player experience should be as good as possible even in the Closed Beta. They do not want to frustrate anyone because the game is constantly crashing or you cannot log in. Everything should run as smoothly as possible. It will take a few days to fix the problem, after which everything must be rechecked. Only then will the Closed Beta start.
Publisher My.com wants to offer something to the players as compensation. However, they have not yet revealed what that will be. But anyone who wants to start downloading the MMORPG now can do so. The pre-download is already available. This will then be extended with a patch at the start of the Closed Beta, which will also resolve the mentioned issue.
Classic with new elements
Revelation Online is currently an interesting candidate for many MMORPG fans. The game could bring back many elements to the genre that are no longer frequently used by other modern genre representatives. These include large raids and plenty of content that can only be completed by groups. Additionally, there are interesting innovations like a mobile housing system where each player can take their house on their travels.
