In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds you currently have very few options to customize your character. But that will change soon, as a coming update will allow you to freely place and even design tattoos and logos on your clothes. Additionally, there will be more faces and hairstyles available.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds does not offer many options for character creation. You can choose from a few pre-made hairstyles and clothes, and that’s it. You will have to earn more clothing, and there isn’t much else to change about your character. However, the developers have big plans.
In an interview on the site PvPLive, Executive Producer Chang Han Kim explained that new character customization options will soon be added to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Tattoos wherever you want them
The plan from developer Bluehole is to give players more freedom in character customization soon. This will involve software called “Mutable” from Anticto. With it, there will be a feature that allows you to freely place tattoos on your body and logos on your clothes. So if you’ve always wanted to walk around with a tattooed face, you’ll likely be able to do that in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds soon.
Additionally, you will be able to create your own logos, like in Battlefield 1 or For Honor. Ideal for clans or fixed teams that want to establish their own identity. There will also be various ways to wear your clothing. For example, whether you want your shirt tucked into your pants or let it hang loose. And a slew of new hairstyles, faces, and skin colors is also set to come in one of the next major updates.
