Now that the price and release date of the PlayStation 5 have been announced and Sony’s next-gen console has been available for pre-order, these and many other questions are likely to be of great interest to many. And there may soon be answers to some of these questions.
After all, following the direct competitor Microsoft, which has already taken the lead with its Xbox Series X, and after the recent initial tests and hands-on reports about the new Xbox, Sony is now following suit less than 2 months before the PS5’s release.
When will the first tests and hands-on reports for the PS5 come?
According to the report from the Japanese site Gematsu, which is currently considered a serious and reliable source regarding PlayStation, it will happen this weekend.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is participating in the “YouTube Gaming Week Japan” according to Gematsu and will grant some selected Japanese YouTubers early access to the PS5 in this context. The event has been running since September 24 and ends on October 4.
Date and start time: On Sunday, October 4, with the end of the event, it is scheduled for 11:00 AM German time (6 PM JST). Then specific content creators will be allowed to upload PS5 videos on their channels.
