The subscription service from Sony has already produced some exclusive hidden gems. A particularly special PS5 game is now coming to Xbox after a year and it’s even included in Game Pass. Puzzle and riddle fans shouldn’t miss this game.
What kind of game is Humanity?
- You play a Shiba Inu that must guide a mass of people to the end of the level
- The game is reminiscent of the classic Lemmings principle
- In the levels, you must use jumps, directional indications, and the many unique level mechanics to ensure that a certain number of people reach the goal
Humanity is particularly striking due to its quirky setting. Watching countless people being guided by a dog is simply amusing. You can find more such hidden gems in Sony’s subscription service here: PS Plus Extra: 5 hidden gems that you can enjoy for free on PS4 and PS5 thanks to the subscription
For fans of puzzles and quirky riddles
The levels develop into increasingly absurd scenarios as the game progresses. Suddenly, the many people are flung around or floating in the air to reach their destination. The levels also become progressively more challenging. If you want to be even more challenged, you can collect hidden items that are worth it, as they unlock useful abilities.
The visual and gameplay identity of the game is not coincidental. The studio Enhance, which has already shown with Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect that they can transform old concepts into modern and creative games, is involved in the game.
If you can’t get enough of the game, you can even create your own levels or play levels created by other players.
The game received good reviews upon release. On Metacritic, the game achieved a critic score of 86 and a user score of 7.6. Players praise the difficulty curve and the creativity:
- petrusferraz:
It starts interestingly, becomes a little too hard at the beginning, then gets better and better until it reaches the ultimate end. Fantastic game.
- Horjus:
The game works when it allows for experimentation and a slow, methodical approach to solving puzzles.
- Pazikon:
For me, it’s an almost perfect experience. The puzzles are fun and varied in every sequence.
