If you haven’t been able to pre-order or secure a PlayStation 5 yet, you might have better luck on Launch Day. In addition to some retailers, Amazon EU has now announced additional ordering options for the PS5 launch.

PS5 pre-order or buy – this is the current situation: Whether it’s the digital or the disc version – the PlayStation 5 is currently sold out after 2 pre-order waves. The PS5 will not be sold in retail at launch. At the moment, you can only get the console at exorbitant prices from resellers – for example on eBay.
However, those who do not have a PlayStation 5 yet might be lucky and manage to order one on launch day. Because 2 retailers in Germany recently announced a new ordering opportunity for November 19. Now, apparently a further large retailer is joining in.
Amazon speaks of a limited PS5 allocation on Launch Day in several countries
What’s behind the stock replenishment at Amazon? After the announcement by the two retailers, reports have also surfaced suggesting that Amazon EU has indicated in an email to customers for several European countries like Spain, Italy, or the UK that a limited PS5 supply is also in sight.
From 13:00 German time on November 19, orders are supposed to be possible again in limited quantities.
No fixed delivery date is mentioned. It should happen as soon as possible, and you will receive an estimated date after placing the order, according to the email. But this is not set in stone, as they do not want to make false promises.
What about Germany? There has not been any specific talk regarding Germany so far. We currently have no information on whether German customers have received such an email. However, it is entirely possible that Germany will be considered, especially if there seems to be a new PS5 allocation for Amazon in Europe or for other retailers in Germany.
If further information follows, we will add it here on MeinMMO as soon as possible. Until then, we recommend that you keep an eye on Amazon again on November 19 from 13:00. It might be worth it.
Update 11:20 Uhr: On Reddit there is now the first report that Amazon will also offer new ordering options in Germany on November 19 at 13:00 German time. However, it is also stated that no exact delivery date is guaranteed.
