On Twitter, the hashtag “#MyPSYear2019” is already high in the global trends. Players are sharing their statistics and results there.

Here’s what to see: In the recap, you will learn a lot about your own gaming behavior. What did I play? How often did I play? And most importantly – how long? All these questions are answered by your overview in the categories:
- Number of games
- The 3 top games
- Your top genre
- Total play hours
- Favorite playtime
- Your achievements
- Your downloads
At the end, you will also be awarded a title – depending on what kind of games you have spent the most time with.
Players encounter problems
These are the problems: On the PlayStation Blog, several players report that they cannot access the statistics. They receive an error message: “PLAYSTATION 2019 statistics are only available in select locations. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years old and have over 10 hours of gameplay for 2019 before December 10.”
However, not all players who meet these requirements can view the statistics. One reason for this could be the privacy settings: Many affected report having disabled the collection of “additional data” under “Device Data.” This was a requirement this year, as Sony now also mentions on the blog. As of now, it is also not possible to activate this retroactively and obtain the statistics.
Moreover, the collection of rewards does not work equally well for all players. In some cases, the corresponding link or retrieving the code does not work. There is still no official solution for this, however, players had success in redeeming the codes at a later time after initial failed attempts.
