The new month of June is just around the corner, and with it comes the major transition of PS Plus. However, there are also the usual ‘free’ games for PS5 and PS4 that you will receive with the subscription and plenty of rumors about what they might be. What does the schedule look like? The June plan for PS Plus is a bit different than usual. On one hand, the games will be announced later than usual. On the other hand, the transition to the new PS Plus is upcoming. But first, here are the dates:
- PS Plus: Games available from Tuesday, June 7
- Typically around 12:00 noon
- Possible announcement: Wednesday, June 1
- Game reveals usually around 5:30 PM
Additionally, you can mark June 22 in your PlayStation calendar. It is planned that PS Plus will revise its subscriptions on this day and then come in 3 different versions: Essential, Extra, and Premium.

What games could come in June? Speculations for June are running hot. Especially the somewhat unclear information regarding the subscription transition has put the most exciting titles on the list. However, many of them belong to the Premium subscription, like Horizon Zero Dawn or the Spider-Man games.
We have looked beyond the big games for the Premium subscription, and there are still a few interesting conjectures circulating online.
However, please keep in mind that these are not definitive information but merely speculations and rumors circulating on the internet:
- Spellforce 3: Reforced – Strategy meets RPG on PlayStation
Spellforce 3 combines classic strategy elements with RPG aspects. In addition to collecting resources, building structures, and recruiting units, special characters also play a role, completing quests for you and becoming stronger over time.

The PlayStation release falls on the PS Plus day – June 7. In the case of smaller titles, it has happened before that they land in PS Plus right at release.
- Chivalry 2 – Knight fighting with ambitions
In Chivalry, you bash in opponents in first-person perspective and knight armor. In simple team deathmatches or objective-based modes, you fight against other players for victory and territories.
The release on PlayStation will celebrate its first anniversary on June 8 and would be a good reason to land in PS Plus a day earlier.
- CoD: Vanguard – Another Call of Duty?
An exciting rumor brings CoD to PS Plus – just like Black Ops 4, Vanguard could also land in the subscription. The rather poor sales figures compared to the series and the buildup to a new hype could provide the reason.
Current speculations suggest that the new CoD: Modern Warfare 2 might be revealed shortly before the June release of PS Plus and possibly Vanguard will come in the subscription service of PlayStation as a small appetizer for the big feast.
- Outriders – New DLC needs buyers?
The loot shooter was a small surprise hit in early 2021 and is about to get its first major story DLC. In the game, you blast away with crazy skills and weapons at alien creatures to secure humanity’s new home.

- Stardew Valley – Sweet farm sim with addictive potential
The pixelated farming simulation has nearly cult status and is celebrated for its deep mechanics and human experiences. While you build up your farm and win the hearts of local villagers, you can even make your digital grandpa proud in co-op mode.
Stardew Valley is a typical game for PS Plus with high quality demands, without being too expensive.

What does PS Plus bring? The subscription is important if you want to use multiplayer on your PlayStation. Because only a few games open the online mode without PS Plus.
