Update at 5:23 PM: There is now an unconfirmed leak about PS Plus in December 2022. According to the leak, one of the best game series of the last few years could be part of it.
What does the schedule look like? Every month, the reveal and release occur simultaneously. The following dates are important:
- PS Plus: Games available starting Tuesday, December 6, 2022
- Usually around 12:00 PM
- Possible announcement: Wednesday, November 30, 2022
- Reveal of the games often around 5:30 PM
However, especially the “announcement” is not set in stone, the games could also be presented a little later or earlier. Based on experience, the dates should fit.

PS Plus December 2022 – Speculations and Rumors
Which games could come in December? Currently, there are no credible leaks about the new PS Plus. However, we have asked around in the community and present you a few titles that could be possible candidates for games in PS Plus.
The Last Of Us Remastered
What speaks for it? On January 15, 2023, the new series “The Last of Us” premieres on HBO. Offering the first part for free in PS Plus would at least be one way to further increase interest in the series. Alternatively, The Last of Us could also be released for free on PS Plus in January.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order
What speaks for it? EA has announced the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for 2023. This is set to take place 5 years after part 1 and will likely require elements from the predecessor. A great opportunity for players to catch up on the action-adventure. Therefore, it would be a good option for PS Plus in December 2022.
Back For Blood
What speaks for it? In the co-op shooter, you battle through thousands of undead. The shooter has already received several DLCs.
With free access through PS Plus, the player base of the game could be expanded again, and also gamers who are unsure if Back For Blood is really for them could be drawn in.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
What speaks for it? Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer where you have to save your friends. The multiplayer title was originally presented as a cross-gen game: PS4 and PS5 players could therefore play together.
A cult co-op title would therefore be a great addition for the cold season when you’re sitting alone or together with friends in front of your PS4 or PS5.
What does PS Plus Essential bring? The subscription is important if you want to use multiplayer on your PlayStation. Because very few games open the online mode without PS Plus.
Additionally, you regularly receive cosmetics or in-game currencies from various games as gifts and have extra discounts on some games. Check the PS Store regularly and look at the PS Plus section so you don’t miss bonuses for games you find interesting.
Furthermore, save files can be moved to the PS Cloud and there are the monthly games in the subscription. However, you can only use them if you are currently a member of PS Plus.
