In Pokémon GO, trainers just caught many Felino and its Paldea variant. But are they useful?
This is happening in Pokémon GO: Over the weekend, the Community Day with Felino and its Paldea version took place. Paldea-Felino made its debut in the game and could be caught for the first time.
Thus, there was also another Pokémon premiere, as Paldea-Felino has its own evolution called ‘Suelord’. This can now also be played for the first time in Pokémon GO.
Numerous trainers expanded their collection with Felino, Morlord, and Suelord on Sunday.
And even though the three monsters don’t look like great fighters, you shouldn’t just let them gather dust in your collection. The evolutions particularly have their uses.
What can Suelord and Morlord do in Pokémon GO?
Here, the Felino evolutions shine: One thing in advance: In raids, you won’t be able to do much with Felino and its evolutions. There are simply better options among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
However, it looks different in the PvP battle league. Here, both Suelord and Morlord have a place and can hit hard.
Suelord is currently ranked 11th in the ranking of the best Pokémon for the Super League on the platform PvPoke. It can withstand a lot of damage, and with its combination of poison and ground types, it occupies a rather special niche. It can achieve victories against favorites like Registeel, Azumarill, Nachtara, or Lanturn.
Its best moveset as of now is:
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Sludge Bomb
You don’t necessarily need its Community Day move ‘Vielender’.
And Morlord, the evolution of the regular Felino, also holds its own in the Super League. PvPoke recommends the following moveset:
- Mud Shot
- Sludge Bomb
- Stone Edge
PvP expert JRE47 also points out in an analysis of the monster that Morlord can definitely impress in the battle league with its new move ‘Nassschweif’ (via reddit). You should try that out as well.
Currently, Morlord is ranked 33rd among the best Super League Pokémon, while the shadow variant even reaches 24th place. Here, too, you have a good option if you want to surprise your opponents in the battle league.
