What’s happening in Pokémon GO? The Community Day with Quapsel in July has just been announced in Pokémon GO, which has led trainers to take a closer look at Quapsel and its evolutions. And it turns out: You shouldn’t underestimate Quappo.
What does this have to do with Team GO Rocket? While Quappo isn’t one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO for raids, it is a nearly perfect weapon against Giovanni, Cliff, Arlo, and Sierra. Trainer Kupo43 reports this in the subreddit TheSilphRoad

However, Quappo alone is not the only decisive factor: The right attack combination makes the difference.
Quappo is a monster with Charge Attack – But not the only one
Which attacks are used? As the trainer explains, a well-leveled Quappo is extremely strong against the Rockets when using a combination of the following attacks:
- Charge Attack as an attack
- Quick Attack as a move
The idea behind it is to use the quick Charged Attack as often as possible. It’s not particularly strong, but fast: It quickly breaks the shields of the Rockets and also provides the special boost effect of the attack – it can improve your attack value up to four times when you use it.
If you have a second Charged Attack like Dynamic Punch
, you can quickly defeat the Rockets’ monsters. It benefits from the quickly removed shields and the attack boost from Charge Attack.
