A player has now discovered a curiosity that probably very few trainers have found in this form so far. He shared the find on Reddit.
Buildings also to admire in-game
What kind of curiosity is this? As the player shows in his post on Reddit, he has found an unusual shape on the Pokémon GO map. It resembles bubble wrap, which most people should be familiar with.
The background of this arrangement is a real-life building, as the trainer also demonstrates in his post. It is a sculpture that also acts as a roof. It stands at the train station in Utrecht.

Why is this special? While the outlines of buildings can be found more frequently in Pokémon GO, such a detailed representation is rather unusual and rare. In most cases, such buildings are not implemented on the map in this way in Pokémon GO.
How does this happen? As also mentioned in the comments on the post, Pokémon GO uses data from OpenStreetMap.org for the creation of the map. It is a free map maintained by the data from helpers and users.
