In Pokémon GO, it is very difficult to catch one of the coveted Galar birds. A trainer has now had incredible luck.
What are the Galar birds? The rare Galar birds are the Galar version of the legendary bird trio Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. They can appear when you are out and have activated the daily adventure incense. However, the chance of encountering a Galar bird is very low.
If you encounter one of the Galar birds, it is also very difficult to catch it. Because in addition to a very low catch rate, the birds also have a very high escape chance. If a bird breaks out of a Pokéball, the risk of it fleeing is therefore very high. It is not surprising that the Master Ball is used for Galar birds.
A trainer on Reddit is now reporting how he caught a Galar Zapdos. And he did it without any active effort on his part.
Even in the lottery, someone wins every year
What did the trainer do? Instead of actively increasing the chances of catching a Galar bird by combining a Hyperball with a golden raspberry and trying a superb curveball throw, the lucky guy from Reddit casually caught the coveted Pokémon.
As he writes in his post, he caught the Pokémon completely automatically through his Go Plus +. Without berries, without a superb throw, and with a simple Pokéball. Given the rather low probability of catching a Galar bird under these circumstances, one can only congratulate the lucky guy.
What does the community say about it? Reading the comments on the post makes it clear quickly that many trainers cannot fathom the player’s luck. Some of the comments under the post are:
Congratulations, I feel a little offended with my many unsuccessful superb curveball throws with golden raspberries
, writes a commentatorAnd here I am, not succeeding in making one of them appear
, writes another trainerEven in the lottery, someone wins every year. It CAN be done, but I wouldn’t bet on it lol
, notes another commentatorCongratulations! I caught a Galar Moltres the same way. Level 29, 2352 CP. I couldn’t believe it
