What kind of event is this? In Pokémon GO, the event Pokémon Horizons: The Series
is taking place in the coming days, which is held in conjunction with the television series of the same name. This revolves around the Paldea region, which is explored by the two trainers Liko and Rory.
So during the event, you can also expect to encounter one or another monster from this region in Pokémon GO. However, familiar monsters will also be available. We have summarized the expected bonuses for you below.
When does the Horizons event run? The event Pokémon Horizons: The Series
starts today, March 5, 2024, at 10:00 local time and is active until March 11, 2024, at 20:00 local time. It is part of the new Season World Full of Wonders

All spawns and new monsters for the Horizons event
All wild spawns: In the wild during the Horizons event, you can mainly expect the starter Pokémon from the Paldea region. Additionally, you will encounter Pikachu wearing a captain’s hat for the first time, which also learns the exclusive move Volt Tackle
. Some monsters can also be caught as shiny. We have marked those with a (*) for you below.

New Pokémon in Eggs: A special highlight of the event that you can secure from the 2-, 5-, and 10-km eggs is Knarbon. This fire Pokémon from the 9th generation can exclusively be found during the event and hatches alongside other monsters from the mentioned eggs.
This is already causing excitement among trainers before the event starts. You need not only the right eggs but also a decent amount of luck. Once you finally get one, you can evolve it into Crimanzo or Azuglaris.
However, for that, you have to take it as a buddy and, depending on the desired evolution, battle against 30 ghost or 30 psychic Pokémon. After the event, you will receive Knarbon permanently from 10-km eggs. However, the new Pokémon cannot be caught as shiny yet.
Pokémon from Raids: In the raids, other opponents will also be found. If you couldn’t find Pikachu with the captain’s hat in the wild or hope for a shiny, you can also defeat it in the raids. The following monsters await you there:
