The 7-KM Eggs in Pokémon GO have received new Pokémon! Several baby Pokémon can now hatch from the eggs.
In the Pokémon GO community, 7-KM Eggs have been unpopular so far. Except for one event exception, you could only hatch Alolan Pokémon. Additionally, the amount of Stardust was the same as from 5-KM Eggs.
Now it is more worthwhile to hatch the 7-KM Eggs. With Pichu, Magby, Isso, and Togepi, there are now four baby Pokémon as potential catches in the eggs.

Why do you need baby Pokémon?
Baby Pokémon can only be obtained from eggs. Therefore, they are even rarer to find. With the 7-KM Eggs, players now have a greater chance of getting the babies.
Babies can be Shiny: Previously, the Shiny versions of baby Pokémon were very rare. When you hatched a baby, it was mostly a Normal type. Now, the baby Pokémon are common in the 7-KM Eggs. The more you hatch, the faster you can encounter a Shiny.
How to get 7-KM Eggs: You do not get 7-KM Eggs from PokéStops, but only from gifts. When you open a friend’s gift, make sure you have a free spot in your egg list. Only then might a gift drop a 7-KM Egg.
What are the chances of baby Pokémon?
There are no exact values for the probabilities yet, as too few 7-KM Eggs have been hatched so far. However, it can be noted that baby Pokémon hatch very frequently from the new eggs.
High probability: The YouTuber “TrainerTips” put the 7-KM Eggs to the test. He hatched eight of the 7-KM Eggs and got six babies and two Alolan Pokémon. Many players also reported high probabilities on Reddit.
How likely is a Shiny Baby: TheSilphRoad wrote several months ago about the probability of shiny baby Pokémon. They concluded that about every 50th baby Pokémon is Shiny.
If we convert this now, we can conclude that you need to hatch about 70-80 7-KM Eggs to get a Shiny baby Pokémon. This is just the pure theory and you also need some luck.

The new 7-KM Eggs were also hotly debated in the community. Many players came to the conclusion that the probability of baby Pokémon in the 7-KM Eggs is definitely high.
Reddit user “iSpanD_” shared a picture of his last nine 7-KM Eggs and wrote, “I got six babies from nine 7-KM Eggs.”
User “Bozlee2u” responded and wrote, “I got four babies from seven eggs. The probability seems to be really increased!”
