In Pokémon GO there are many different ways to obtain eggs. One of them is the “Adventure Sync” feature. We at MeinMMO looked at what you need to do to get eggs this way and which 9 monsters are hiding in them.
What is Adventure Sync? Adventure Sync is a feature in Pokémon GO that registers the movements of your smartphone, even when you have closed your game. So if you go for a walk during this time, the distance you have covered will still be counted.
This is made possible by a fitness app like Google Fit. This app records your movements and shares the data with Pokémon GO with your prior consent. This gives you the opportunity to collect kilometers even when your game is closed. These are important for hatching eggs or if your buddy is supposed to find a candy.
How do you get eggs through Adventure Sync? Normally, you can secure different eggs by spinning at gyms or PokéStops. But you also have a chance through Adventure Sync. This is related to the weekly reward. You receive this every Monday at 09:00 local time.
The key factor here is how many kilometers you traveled in the previous week. Both the data from Adventure Sync and the distance walked while the game is open are counted. Thus, trainers who have disabled Adventure Sync also receive a weekly reward.
If you have reached the milestone of 25 km, you will receive a special 5 km egg. Upon reaching 50 km, you will get a 10 km egg. You can see your respective progress in the avatar view.
9 Monsters from the Adventure Sync Eggs
Unlike the other eggs, the 5 and 10 km eggs from Adventure Sync access their own Pokémon pool. Therefore, they often contain different and sometimes more interesting Pokémon than the normal ones.
Additionally, you will receive these eggs even if your regular 9 egg slots are full, as they are designated for the lower three slots along with the 12 km eggs from Team GO Rocket.
Which Pokémon you can find during the current season in the eggs from Adventure Sync are summarized for you below (via pokemongolive.com) All monsters marked with a (*) can also be obtained as Shiny with some luck.
5 km Eggs from Adventure Sync:
If you have walked at least 25 km within a week, you will receive a 5 km egg, which includes one of the following monsters:
- Koknodon*
- Schilterus*
- Wonneira*
- Mampfaxo
- Mamolida*

10 km Eggs from Adventure Sync:
If you have covered 50 km within a week, you can look forward to one of these monsters from a 10 km egg:
- Kaumalat*
- Viscora
- Wuffels*
- Miniras

Are the eggs from Adventure Sync worth it?
Since the eggs from the weekly reward access a smaller data pool, the chances for the respective monsters are slightly better. Thus, fewer monsters can hatch from these eggs than from the regular 5 or 10 km eggs.
Additionally, some of the Pokémon from Adventure Sync are relatively rare or can evolve into a strong attacker. In particular, monsters like Riolu or Kapuno are hard to find in the wild. So if you are looking for one of these Pokémon, you should try your luck with the eggs in the weekly reward.
Do you regularly get eggs from the weekly reward of Adventure Sync? And which of these Pokémon do you like best? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other players.
