- Terrakium with Launch and Sacred Sword
- Kapilz with Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch

How did the ranking come about? In our overview of the best Fighting attackers, we have only considered Pokémon that you can already obtain in the game. Thus, we have listed both legendary raid bosses and monsters that you can find in the wild, hatch, or evolve.
We will also explain to you which moveset is the best for each Pokémon and what strengths they have. The best Crypto Fighting attackers and the best Mega Fighting Pokémon are not included in this ranking and are therefore listed separately at the end of the article.
1. Lucario
Best moveset: Counter and Aura Sphere
The Fighting and Steel Pokémon Lucario is the evolution of Riolu and originates from the 4th generation. Lucario benefits mainly from a high attack value and has access to a strong moveset consisting of Counter and Aura Sphere. The attack is relatively quickly charged and therefore deals significant damage.
Can you catch Shiny Lucario? To get Shiny Lucario, you first need to evolve a Shiny Riolu. You can get this with some luck from the 10 km eggs. You can recognize Shiny Lucario by its yellow body.
2. Meistagrif
Best moveset: Counter and Dynamic Punch
Meistagrif is the final evolution of the Fighting Pokémon Praktibalk. The monster from the 5th generation excels particularly with a strong attack and a high stamina value.
Its defense is somewhat weaker, but its moveset of Counter and Dynamic Punch compensates for that and ensures significant damage to the opponent. Only Lucario is a better Fighting attacker.
Is there a Shiny version of Meistagrif? Yes, you can catch Shiny Praktibalk and evolve it into a shiny Meistagrif. The Shiny has an orange body.
3. Machomei
Best moveset: Counter and Dynamic Punch
One of the most popular Fighting Pokémon is Machomei. It is the final evolution of Machollo from the 1st game generation. It has a high attack value, which is slightly lower than that of Lucario and Meistagrif. Additionally, it has strong stamina.
Its moveset of Counter and Dynamic Punch can score points primarily with its speed. As Machollo can regularly be caught in the wild, Machomei is a strong Fighting attacker that anyone can easily incorporate into their team.
Can you catch Shiny Machomei? Machomei is available in its shiny form in the game. To obtain it, you first need to catch a Shiny Machollo and then evolve it into Machomei. You can recognize it by its green body.
4. Terrakium
Best moveset: Launch and Sacred Sword
Terrakium belongs to the Knights of Justice and is a legendary Pokémon from the 5th generation. Unfortunately, Terrakium does not have a Fighting-type fast attack, which would make it even stronger as a Fighting attacker. Nevertheless, its attack Sacred Sword is charged very quickly and deals considerable damage.
It can also benefit from its very high attack and stamina values. Its defense is solid, which allows it to withstand a bit in battle.
Is there a Shiny version of Terrakium? Yes, you can catch Shiny Terrakium. It is occasionally available in Level 5 raids. Unlike the normal variant, the shiny version has a brownish body and red horns.
5. Kapilz
Best moveset: Counter and Dynamic Punch
The Grass and Fighting Pokémon Kapilz is the evolution of Knilz. The monster may achieve a slightly better attack value than Machomei, but is not as sturdy. Its stamina and defense are average, meaning it won’t last long in a battle alongside you.
Is there a Shiny version of Kapilz? Unfortunately, you cannot yet catch Shiny Kapilz in the game and Shiny Knilz is currently not available in Pokémon GO either.
6. Hariyama
Best moveset: Counter and Dynamic Punch
Another strong and popular Fighting attacker is Hariyama. The Fighting Pokémon comes from the 3rd game generation and is the evolution of Makuhita. Similar to Machomei, it is easily obtainable in the game, so it should not be missing in any team.
Hariyama also can score with strong stamina, making it hold out pretty well in battle. However, its attack is slightly weaker than those of the previously mentioned Fighting attackers. With its moveset of Counter and Dynamic Punch, it also has a relatively quick attack combination, which is why it secures our 6th place.
Can you catch Shiny Hariyama? The shiny form of Hariyama is available in the game. To get it, you first need to catch a Shiny Makuhita and evolve it into Hariyama. The shiny variant can be recognized by its purple hands and the red decoration on its pants.
7. Lauchzelot
Best moveset: Counter and Close Combat
With a slightly better attack value than Hariyama, the Fighting Pokémon Lauchzelot can shine. The evolution of Galar-Porenta comes from the 8th generation.
In contrast to the other previously mentioned Fighting attackers, Lauchzelot has a moveset of Counter and Close Combat, which is somewhat slower. However, Close Combat deals more damage than Dynamic Punch.
Is there a Shiny version of Lauchzelot? Yes, Shiny Lauchzelot can only be evolved. To do this, you first need to catch a Shiny Galar-Porenta. The shiny Lauchzelot can be easily distinguished from its normal form by its golden body.
8. Skaraborn
Best moveset: Counter and Close Combat
Another strong attacker with this moveset of Counter and Close Combat is Skaraborn. The Bug and Fighting Pokémon from the 2nd game generation is usually only found in Latin America but has also been temporarily available worldwide in raids during certain events.
Skaraborn also has a good attack value, which is slightly lower than that of Lauchzelot. Its stamina and defense are solid as well, allowing it to withstand a bit in battle.
Can you catch Shiny Skaraborn? You can catch Shiny Skaraborn in the game. However, it is only available in its respective region, Latin America, outside of special events. You can recognize Shiny Skaraborn by its pink body.
9. Lohgock
Best moveset: Counter and Focus Blast
The Fire and Fighting Pokémon Lohgock comes from the 3rd game generation and is the final evolution of Flemmli. Lohgock has a similarly high attack and stamina value as Skaraborn. Only in defense is it somewhat weaker and therefore easier to defeat.
However, Lohgock uses a moveset of Counter and Focus Blast. Even though it is not particularly fast, Focus Blast does a lot of damage to opponents. Therefore, the Fire and Fighting Pokémon should not be underestimated.
Lohgock also belongs to the 10 best Fire attackers in Pokémon GO.
Is there a Shiny version of Lohgock? Yes, however, you cannot catch Shiny Lohgock. To get it, you can catch a Shiny Flemmli and evolve it into Lohgock. With the shiny Lohgock, you need to look a bit closer. It is primarily distinguished by its dark brown body from its normal form.
10. Toxiquak
Best moveset: Counter and Dynamic Punch
Toxiquak is a Poison and Fighting Pokémon from the 4th generation, which can be evolved from Glibunkel. The monster also benefits from a fast moveset consisting of Counter and Dynamic Punch.
Its attack and stamina values are solid, though also lower than those of its competitors. Thus, it only secures 10th place in our ranking.
Can you catch Shiny Toxiquak? You can catch Shiny Glibunkel in Pokémon GO and evolve it into Toxiquak. The shiny form of Toxiquak stands out due to its turquoise body and pink accents.
The best Crypto Fighting attackers
- Crypto-Machomei with Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Crypto-Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Crypto-Galagladi with Kick and Close Combat
Why are Crypto Pokémon worth it? Crypto Pokémon have an attack bonus compared to their normal forms. This allows them to deal 20% more damage to the opponent in battle. However, they are somewhat weaker in defense and thus do not last as long.
So if you have caught a strong Crypto Pokémon, it is definitely worth renouncing liberation and benefiting from the attack bonus.
Best Mega Fighting attacker
- Mega-Delcatty with Kick and Focus Blast
That’s why Mega-Delcatty is worth it: The Pokémon of the Normal and Fighting types is currently the only Mega Evolution that has a decent fighting attack combination. With Focus Blast, it also deals significant damage. So if you want to rely on a Mega Evolution, Mega-Delcatty should be your choice.
As soon as there are more strong Mega Fighting attackers, we will certainly add them here for you.
