In Pokémon GO, you are on the way to Kalos. This event brings strong bonuses daily – it starts tomorrow.
What is the way to Kalos? This event is basically the preparation event for the big Kalos Tour next weekend. But the way to Kalos also offers bonuses, and certainly exciting Pokémon.
Starting Monday, you will find different legendary Pokémon, bonuses, raids, and more content every day.

What does Monday bring on the way to Kalos?
Legendary Pokémon: Monday revolves around the Kanto region and brings you three classics in 5-star raids: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. They will also have a raid hour from 18:00 to 19:00 on Monday evening.
All three bring special moves:
- Articuno knows the charge move Hurricane
- Zapdos knows the fast move Thunder Shock
- Moltres knows the charge move Sky Attack
What other Pokémon appear? In the wild, you can also expect Kanto Pokémon. You will encounter:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Pikachu
- Clefairy
- Meowth
If you participate in level-1 raids, you will encounter Pikachu wearing a red cap or a leafy hat.
And in 2-km eggs, you might hatch Larvitar, Bagon, Beldum, and Deino. They are not from the Kanto region, but they can be hatched throughout the entire way to Kalos.
Which bonuses apply on Monday? In general, the way to Kalos offers quite a few bonuses. These also apply on Monday:
- halved hatching distance for eggs
- increased remote raid limit to 30
- Event field research with candies and XL candies for the respective raid bosses of the day
- Costumed Pikachu in certain field research tasks
- A free, limited-time research with costumed Pikachu, candies, TMs, and other items
- It is possible to receive special backgrounds for Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos. These are themed after the teams Wisdom (Articuno), Intuition (Zapdos), and Valor (Moltres).
