What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO, and for one hour, a Pokémon is in the spotlight. Additionally, there is a bonus to round out the event.
This week, it’s all about Shmerbe. There is also a bonus that you can perfectly take advantage of from home.
All information about the Spotlight Hour with Shmerbe
When does the Spotlight Hour take place? It starts this evening at 6:00 PM local time. The event lasts for one hour, and at 7:00 PM, there will be the spawns from the Lake Event.
What bonuses are available? During this hour, Shmerbe will appear everywhere, and spawns are generally increased. Additionally, there are double candies for sending Pokémon. You will receive 2 candies instead of just one.
Is there a Shiny Shmerbe? Yes, you can catch this Pokémon as a Shiny in Pokémon GO for quite some time. The difference is quite obvious:
This event is worth it: For Shiny hunters, Shmerbe could be interesting. However, if you already have it as a Shiny, you can sit back a bit. For PvP fans, Shmerbe is still exciting, as the evolution Welsar is a strong monster in the Super League.
Otherwise, you should take advantage of the bonus. The double candies are worthwhile, and you don’t even have to go outside. So send off your Pokémon that you don’t use from the couch and collect the double candies. This is particularly beneficial for legendary Pokémon.
